MOT believes in the power of using positive role models. That is why MOT recruits MOT ambassadors that live MOT’s values.

MOT Norway has recruited three new MOT ambassadors: Ragnhild Mowinckel, Kristoffer Reitan and Marcus Kleveland.

Ragnhild Mowinckel

Ragnhild is a Norwegian alipine skier. She had her breakthrough in the 2018 season and in the Winter Olympic Games she won two silver medals in Giant Slalom and Downhill. We asked Ragnhild why she said yes to become a MOT ambassador:

– MOT helps youth to become more robust and safe in the period of life where they are the most insecure and vulnarable. When I was younger I saw classmates and others become outsiders in the society and I wish I could have done something about it. I think awareness is the key and MOT strengthens awareness so the youth know what they can do to help.

Kristoffer Reitan

The incredible golf talent Kristoffer Reitan became a national MOT ambassador after being a youth ambassador for MOT since 2014. Kristoffer became historical this season as the first norwegian to reach the US Open. Kristoffer will also participate in the World Championship in September. We asked Kristoffer why he wanted  to be a MOT ambassador:

– MOT has played an important part in my life. My mother worked with MOT when I was about eight years old so I got to know the MOT concept early. Ever since I’ve made all my tough choices based on MOT’s values and I try my best to live the MOT values every day. When I was asked to be a MOT-ambassador I was never in doubt about what to answer.

Marcus Kleveland

Marcus Kleveland is a 19 year old snowboarder who spesialises in Slopestyle and Big Air. Despite his young age he has taken two gold medals in Slopestyle in X-games in 2017 and 2018.  He ha’s been through the MOT programme himself, and when we asked him why he wanted to become a MOT ambassador the answer was clear:

– I want to stand for something that is important for me. MOT is about making your own choices. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s best for you. You know best!
