In the face of the recent global pandemic, the people all around the world has experienced fear, anxiety and uncertainty.
It is important to allow yourself to let these emotions be felt, but also to let them go. Negative thoughts and feelings are easily spread, but it is important to remember that joy is just as contagious.
Too often we underestimate the power of a smile, a kind word, a listening ear or the smallest act of kindness, all of which actually have the potential to turn somebody’s day, week or even life around.
By taking the initiative to make others feel seen and appreciated, you will in return feel more encouraged and joyful yourself. No act of kindness, however small, is ever a waste.
