You are good enough

MOT forever_18

We are often our own biggest critic.

Some days we say terrible things to ourselves, compare ourselves to others or just feel like a failure. Sometimes in the midst of all the pressure, we seem to totally forget all the wonderful, unique things about ourselves.

If you had a friend that spoke to you in the same way you speak to yourself, how long would you allow that person to remain your friend?

Telling yourself what a failure you are won’t make you any more successful. Your value is not determined by the amount of likes of your Instagram picture, how many push-ups you can do or the grade you got on your latest mathematics test. You don’t have to be the best at everything, and you don’t have to have it all figured out. Focus on the qualities you like about yourself and choose to listen to the positive voice in your mind rather than the negative one.
