What is “normal”, anywhay?
It is in our nature to want to fit in and be like everybody else, and we often worry that we are not normal. But what can be considered normal?
It’s normal to have gym as your favourite subject.
It’s normal to love football.
It’s normal to watch Netflix every day after school.
It’s normal to have a boyfriend or girlfriend.
It’s normal to eat breakfast every morning.
If you feel like you can’t relate to one or several of these, does that mean that there is something wrong with you? Absolutely not.
“Normal” is a relative term, and if everybody were trying to adapt to what everybody else are doing, this world would be a very boring place.
It is not bad to stand out. Forget about trying to fit in with everything you do, and own being different! Stand for your values, go for your dreams, and dare to try something new that is outside your comfort zone.
We are all born originals, but many dies as copies. Dare to be an original!
