MOT Norway in the process of polishing manuscripts

Norge

MOT Norway is in the works of polishing our manuscripts for the MOT sessions. The reasoning behind this is that we have gathered a lot of feedback from MOT coaches and partnering schools. We have the opportunity to take this feedback to improve the experience and effect in the classroom, and the time is right to make the most out of it.

The final week of January, some of us in MOT Norway dove headfirst into this job. We set aside an entire week to focus only on the MOT programme Robust Youth 12-16. The three biggest changes we have discussed are:

  1. Shortening the sessions, so that all sessions are 120 minutes long, and not 150 minutes. We want to be able to uphold the atmosphere for the entire MOT session, and we see that this isn’t always possible in our longest MOT sessions.
  2. Session 2 gets completely renewed and gets a new name: The class as a team.
  3. Session 4 dialogue is replaced by a session focusing on digital inclusion/inclusion online.

We still have a lot of work to do, but we see the importance of doing this change now. We also believe that some of these changes can be important discussion points in the global MOT team, and we are excited to share some of our experiences and thoughts with you in global manuscripts discussions.
