New Chair in MOT South Africa is Yasmin Forbes.

One of the most important tasks of MOT Foundation is to appoint the Chair in the MOT Countries. Sigrun and I had good meetings and conversations with Yasmin during our visit to South Africa in March this year. Our impression was that she is a doer and has the qualifications and skills required to be Chair for MOT SA and responsible for MOT’s Comprehensive System in South Africa.

It was simple to approve Yasmin as Chair and give this assignment to MOT SA’s Board earlier this year: MOT Foundation’s proposal and recommendation is that Yasmin Forbes is appointed as the new Chair for MOT SA. We expect and think she will fulfil the most important premise for the leadership role. She is recognizable as a “MOTy” person and the right enthusiast with the right spirit (Passionate, Youthful, Innovative, Sincere. Flair for brand. Feels very “at home” within MOT’s Comprehensive System. Likes working in the balance between freedom and a clear concept frame). We trust that Yasmin will be an inspirational sparring partner for Julia and Andiswa. The appointment by MOT Foundation as Chair is made with the following reservation: If doubt about the chairperson’s suitability to have the main responsibility for MOT’s Comprehensive System in South Africa, MOT Foundation may ask for the chairperson’s resignation. 

Tuesday last week we had a two-hour introduction meeting with her. This is a very short resume of the presentation we gave:
