Hi*

Hei1 (002)

*If you say hi, you say more than you think.

First week of school MOT Norway ran a national campaign with focus on the word ‘Hi’ to mark the Value start. In MOT we talk a lot about the importance of how we meet and greet each other. A simple ‘Hi’ or ‘Hello’ can make a big difference in someone’s day and make them feel included instead of excluded. Therefore, we wanted as many as possible to become aware that of that by saying ‘hi’ you say more than you think.

All the MOT schools in Norway received campaign material: posters, balloons, list with ideas and even a speech that the MOT-coaches or principal could start the school year with, emphasizing the importance of greeting each other.

Our business partners also took part of the campaign. Narvesen ran commercials on social medias, Torghatten and their bus drivers wore the MOT-logo as a part of their uniforms and the MOT-logo was everywhere at the YX gas stations. We can’t express how grateful we are.

Last but not least, a lot of MOT ambassadors and other famous TV-profiles, artist and politicians in Norway took part in the campaign by sharing it in their social media, and sending us a video where they said ‘Hi’ to the camera. This gave the campaign an extra boost.

Some numbers from the campaign:

  • Over 200 schools ordered the campaign material, and marked the Hi* week
  • We reached 999 288 people trough Facebook from August 3rd – August 30th
  • We reached 39 763 followers on Facebook
  • We reached 12 684 followers on Instagram
