To make choices for the greater good

Like the rest of the world, Denmark is yet again subject to the Corona virus. In MOT Denmark we have felt the consequences and had to delay the Young MOTivator educations that so many people were looking forward to. But we have to be opportunity focused and hope that we can run all 3 educations in February – fingers crossed 😉.

The window for the MOT programme “Robust Youth 16-25” is open now. We have had a pilot project on this at Ribe Katedral – a high school in Jylland, but because of the Corona virus, we couldn’t finish it. We are now working on starting up at 3 youth educations in 3 different places in Denmark.

Why is the window open now? The Corona virus has “forced” young people in this age group to be responsible and to make choices for the greater good. This is difficult for us all and has also proven to be a challenge for many young people. So there is a recognition of the need for guidance and basic value based education in human behavior and being part of a community.

All in all, we are doing our best to maintain a level of normality and progress. The Courage to care day is coming up and this year we have made a list of good Corona friendly ideas for the schools. I.e. we have produced a MOT postcard that can be sent to someone you want to care for.

We wish you all well!
