Youth Story of the month: MOT Latvia

MOT-Portrait-FF

Enjoy this letter from a Latvian boy written in his last MOT sessions after three years with MOT:

The most weighted thing that will always remain in memory about MOT is that we all were happy in MOT sessions! I’ve grown up both physically and emotionally during these 3 years and MOT has helped me a lot at this stage. I’ve learned to stand for myself, be myself, not a copy of someone else. I’m proud to have learned to say no, to be more open to others and to have acquired new friends. I expected positive feelings from every MOT session and was surprised at how much positive I could see around myself. From every MOT session I took some smart, good advice for my future. I’m also very happy of getting our class more friendly and inclusive, I’ve improved relations with my classmates. Most of all, I remember the backpack story with problems and bad life experiences, but then we made it easier with jetfuel. It helped to see the positive meaning, as did the flashlight. If I don’t like someone, I’ll try to see something good about him. My future goal is very easy – to live with joy! I will never forget our MOT coach Janis. He could always make us all laugh without even trying! I’ll certainly use MOT in my life. I will also teach my children to be positive, self-sufficient and robust.

I would like to thank MOT for wanting to work with my school and class.
